Baptism Sunday

Our church had a huge baptism celebration this weekend. Cory had heard about it at church a couple of weeks ago and asked if he could join in. Because of his age he had to go to a class that explained exactly what being baptized means and it was up to me to decide if he was ready to take that step in his Christianity. I felt confident and grateful that Cory understood what was going on and let him take that step. Marc came up for the weekend to support him. Rachel and Matt were also there which meant a lot to me. Rachel was camera ready as usual to capture the event. He was waiting in line right here to check in with the gal with the clip board. When she saw Cory she knew who he was because she turned out to be one of the parents from a level 4 gymnast at Cory's gym. That was kinda cool.

The gal gave him his congradulations hug.

It was a wonderful experience to see him take that step of faith.
