where it all started
Cory and I are in Sacramento this weekend for a gymnastic tournament. I was getting Cory's shower ready this morning and as he got in he asked "Where did you ever get the idea to put me in gymnastics?" I told him it was Gram's idea when he was in kindergarten. He then said "It really changed my life you know." I do know, thanks Mom.

When I read this I got goosebumps, then tears as I thought of how gymnastics changed your life too, and if you had gone on with the sport and followed a different path on your life's journey, we would not have your talented, insightful son to share his wisdom with us just when we need to hear it. So, I thank too, Mom, for being who you were in our childhood. If it had been any different, we would not be here in this place and time, experiencing such deep joy from those who we call family.
