Girls Night Out ♥

So, last night was so much fun. My mom scored on this package that included a show, and a one night room at the Nugget. My mom and I got to go to a show at The Nugget, while Cory spent the night at his friend Dallas' house. It was kind of a musical performance, but it included skits, and just a bunch of funny stuff.
Here is a picture of the room! It was pretty nice, especially because it was a corner room, so it had windows on both sides of the room.

Before the show we went out the Oyster Bar. It was so good! We asked the waitress to take a picture of us, but she was kind of not capable of using a camera. So it got all messed up, but it's kind of funny...

After dinner we had some time to waste. So we went into the gift shop, and of course I found these crazy fur jackets. They were obviously extremely expensive because they were tied and locked to the rack. I tried to put it on while it was attached to rack. My mom and I were histerically laughing!

A night shot from the room. It is blurry, but I have a sucky camera. You get the idea =)

A the show, we were waiting inside before the show actually started. We werent sure if we were allowed to use a flash inside, so our first try was without a flash...
Didnt turn out so well! lol

Second try... we are laughing even more...

Third try.. I am crying because we are laughing.

It was such a great night. I cant remember the last time I had laughed this much! Love you mom.

An evening walk..

Today I went for a walk because I was the only one in the house. Cory was off with some friends, Mom was at a meeting for church, and Matt was at work. So I was at home, with the dogs. I thought I would just go for a nice little walk.
There are tons of fires right now and it is totally affecting the sky and the air. You can see in these pictures how foggy it is and how the sun was really red.

I took a new path for a walk, and surprisingly this field was covered in these flowers. I thought they were pretty.

Murda is a pretty good walker, but she gets herself tangled up an awful lot, and then she gets tangled up with Dixie, so she doesnt have the greatest time. My solution is usually just to let Dixie off of her leash because she listens very well, and I can trust her not to run off.

I had to throw this one in here, shes too cute

Murda does NOT like the camera at all, I got lucky getting this good a pic.

I thought this was a pretty good shot. I love these flowers also.

This was how Dixie spent the rest of her walk. She gets a little freaked out by the wind, so she prefers to just get a ride, where she can go in the bag if the wind starts up.

Then I was home, our lovely little house.

Our gardren is coming along quite well, I must admit =)

More from Sunday...

This is from church last sunday. I took a few pictures of the band, and then we also took some pictures together. I just thought I would throw them in there =)

The Unicorn Does Exist

Ok. This is totally random, but I think it is so cool. I saw this the other day on the news feed on my e-mail site. It said that they found a deer that had a DNA alteration, or something like that. The affect was a horn. It's sibling apparently had two horns. But they think this could be the reasoning behind the creation of the fictional creature the "Unicorn." I think it is so trippy, because there is always a reason for everything. People millions of years ago may have saw one of these deers, and created a Unicorn.

Cory sings at church

This weekend at church the Kid's Rock went on stage to do a couple of numbers. My camera does not have a flash but here are a couple of shots of the stage.

Cory looks a bit uncomfortable. I guess he saves his showmanship for the gym floor. This is a dark shot of him sitting with the other kids before they went on stage. The auditorium has very nice stadium seating with big screens overhead.

He managed to make it through without too much stress. I was glad he got to come in the big church for a change and see how the band rocks out.

Mom will always find out

This morning Cory called me at work to check in as requested by me last night. He spent the night at a friend's house and I asked him to call me when he got home in the morning. As we were chatting he let out a healthy burp that I knew only could come from drinking soda, which I don't allow him to do in the morning. I immediately called him out on it and I think he was so shocked I knew he couldn't deny it.

Super Circus

Saturday at the gym was Super Circus, where the gymnasts get a chance to show there new learned talents to family and friends. Dallas came over earlier that day to play with Cory. They were busy showing their talents to me on the bike jump.

About five of the team kids came to the show to demonstrate what the other children are working towards. These three are quite good friends.
All the children that participated in the event got a medal. I didn't think Cory needed to add a medal to his collection but his coach insisted.

Cory is showing off his handstand abilities on the P bars.
Here are a couple of shots of Cory doing giants on the high bar, which he can do without straps now.

As usual a fun day in the gym for Cory, his home away from home.

A New JOB?

Well I just got home from work at the restaurant, and I am getting ready for a long day tomorrow.

The other day I went to an interview to possibly be a photographers assistant at a company called Creative Image Photography. I thought it would be a fun way to sort of get a little experience before going off to school. I was also hoping maybe the pay would be pretty decent, so I could cut down a few days at the restaurant.

So the interview went really well, and he offered me a position as one of his assistants. The only bad part is that it is part time, and kind of a random thing. Like, when he calls and needs me I kind of have to be available. Plus, it only pays minimum wage, which doesnt do too much for me either.

But tomorrow is my first day. We have a male model photo shoot in studio and then also we will be going on site somewhere! It sounds pretty fun. Although I must admit that I am very nervous. I am kind of nervous too about the fact that I cant necessary always be available for when he is going to need me. But I just figure I can try it out and see how it goes!

Wish me luck!

Love, Rach

Farad. DAY 2

Well we pretty much have been living at the river. It's nice when I have the day off because then we have no pressure of leaving, so we can stay all day if we like. Today the group was: Me, Cory, Matt, Matt's nephew Taylor, and Taylor's friend Noah. It was pretty nice because the boys get along great so they loved it.

See.. Cory and Taylor... they get along great.. a couple of goof balls they are together...

Doesnt he just look so thrilled!

Dixie always has a bit of a hard time! Today she totally reminded me of a baby. Every time I would walk away from her she would cry and pant, like she was burning up or something, and then as sooon as I picked her up, she would instantly be happy. Ha, I love her.
